Barbora Krejcikova is a Czech professional tennis player. She has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2, achieved on 28 February 2022, and on 22 October 2018, she became world No. 1 in doubles.

After losing in the first round of the Gastein Ladies’ tournament, Krejková made her WTA Tour debut. At the Tournoi de Québec, she made her singles debut, reaching the main draw and falling to Lucie Hradecká in the second round.

She made it to the semifinals in doubles in the tournament. Her first WTA Tour doubles final was at the Luxembourg Open, where she teamed up with Hradecká. Timea Bacsinszky and Kristina Barrois, on the other hand, defeated them.



She only competed in one WTA Tour main-draw singles event in 2015, losing in the first round at the Tournoi de Québec. She lost in the first or second round of each of the four Grand Slam competitions, failing to qualify for the main draw.

It wasn’t just in singles that she had success; she also made her debut in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament and won her first championship at the Tournoi de Québec in her first year of competition.

It was in November that she won her first WTA 125K championship with Mandy Minella when she triumphed at the Open de Limoges in France.
