William Felton Russell was an American professional basketball player who played as a center for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association from 1956 to 1969.



The former basketball player was born on February 12, 1934, in  West Monroe, Louisiana, United States of America and has a very tall height that is known to stand at 2.08m

He is known to have married on three different occasions;  Marilyn Nault (m. 1996–2009), Dorothy Anstett (m. 1977–1980), and Rose Swisher (m. 1956–1973).
