Adam Scherr, a former strongman and current professional wrestler from the United States, goes by the ring moniker The Titan. On September 6, 1983, he was born in Pennsylvania.

The majority of his international reputation is attributable to his time spent in WWE, where he went under the ring moniker Braun Strowman.

He acquired the moniker “The Monster Among Men” while he was a part of the main roster because of his reputation as an unconquerable monster.



Scherr took part in the 2007 NFL Scouting Combine, however, he decided against playing football professionally. He began competing in amateur strongman competitions in the second half of 2000s.

Scherr won the amateur national championships of the North American Strongman Association (NAS) on November 5, 2011, which allowed him to obtain his Strongman Corporation (ASC) Professional Card.

He participated in the SCL North American Championships on July 8, 2012, and came in fifth overall. He also participated in the Giants Live Poland competition on July 21, 2012.

Scherr won the Arnold Amateur Strongman Championships, which were contested at the Arnold Sports Festival, on March 4. He was given a chance to compete in the 2013 Arnold Strongman Classic as a consequence of his success.
