Ukraine authorities have announced that two people have been killed after a strike that hit an apartment block in Kyiv.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine said six people were also seriously injured.

Earlier today, a missile struck a residential building in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv earlier on Saturday.



Anton Herashchenko also said Russia was lying about not shelling civilian infrastructure. According to the adviser, at least 40 such sites had been hit and Russian troops were shelling civilian sites.

In other news, UK Armed Forces Minister James Heappey says the UK and 25 other countries have agreed to provide more humanitarian aid and arms to Ukraine.
