Brendan McKay is an American professional baseball pitcher and an appointed hitter for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He wears Jersey number 49 when on the field. The Tampa Rays selected McKay during the first round of the 2017 MLB draft in the fourth overall selection.
He made his MLB debut on June 29, 2019, for the Tampa Bays Rays baseball team. McKay had his high school career in Blackhawk high school in Chippewa, Pennsylvania in the United States.
