It had a significant role in my development as a player and in assisting me in gaining a competitive advantage.

Snitker led the Braves’ third-base coaching staff from 2007 through 2013. On October 3, 2006, he was named to the role, succeeding Fredi González, who had left to become manager of the Florida Marlins. Following Bobby Cox’s retirement, González was named manager of the Braves for the 2011 season. Snitker was retained as third-base coach.

Snitker took over as manager of the Braves Triple-A affiliate on October 14, 2013. The Gwinnett Braves are a professional baseball team based in Georgia.
