Mike and Carrie married soon after they started dating. After only two years together, they married on July 10, 2010. Their wedding took place at the Ritz-Carlton in Lake Oconee, Georgia.

Mike Fisher used to play professional hockey. Mike, like most Canadian youngsters, grew up with a passion for hockey. The Ottawa Senators selected him 44th overall in the second round of the NHL Draft in 1998.
