Clayton Ray Echard is an American television personality who is most known for his performances on season 18 of The Bachelorette and season 26 of The Bachelor. Echard was born in Eureka, Missouri, on April 29, 1993, to parents Brian and Kelly.

He began playing football in the sixth grade and was a defensive lineman for the varsity football team during his senior year at Eureka High School, where he graduated in 2011.

Echard was chosen as a walk-on member of the Missouri Tigers football team at the outset of his freshman year at the University of Missouri, despite not receiving any scholarship offers. At the University of Missouri, to be precise.

Echard redshirted his first year and only appeared in one game in 2012. He was awarded to the academic honour roll of the Southeastern Conference in 2012. Echard was changed from defensive end to tight end at the start of the 2013 season.  He appeared in 12 games and had one assist tackle.

During the 2014 season, he appeared in all 14 games at both offensive and defensive positions, before settling on a tight end, where he played throughout the 2015 season.

Brian was born on the 18th of March, 1963. He was born in Waverly, Ohio. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio University. He worked as a sales engineer and a district sales manager for Them-O-Disc.
