Famous professional golfer Collin Morikawa, who was born in the United States, plays on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 6, 1997, in the United States.

He played collegiate golf at the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2019. The Northeast Amateur, Trans-Mississippi Amateur, Sunnehanna Amateur, and Western Junior were additional wins for him. He was a part of the Walker Cup winning team in 2017, the Arnold Palmer Cup winning team in 2017 and 2018, and the Eisenhower Trophy losing team in 2018.

In May 2018, he occupied the top spot for three weeks in the World Amateur Golf rankings. Collin made his professional golf debut at the 2019 RBC Canadian Open by tied for 14th. In July 2019, he finished fourth at the John Deere Classic and tied for second at the 3M Open. After 72 holes in the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge in June of that year, he was tied for the lead.

This was the first PGA Tour competition to take place following a three-month hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Collin’s victory at the 2020 PGA Championship was his second major triumph overall. During the 2021 golf season, he triumphed at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, where the WGC-Workday Championship was held.

By three shots, he overcame Brooks Koepka, Viktor Hovland, and Billy Horschel. He shot a final-round 65 to tie for second place at the Genesis Invitational in February 2022, two strokes behind Joaqun Niemann.
