Who is Cristian Garín’s Coach Pepe Vendrell?

José Luis “Pepe” Vendrell Bru is a Spanish tennis coach who is now working with Cristian Garn. He was born on August 21, 1980, and has the nickname “Pepe.” Prior to that, he held a position at the JC Ferrero Equelite Sports Academy in Villena, which is situated in Spain.

Between the years 2011 and 2021, he served as Roberto Bautista Agut’s coach. During that time, Agut won nine singles championships on the ATP Tour and had a career-best position of No. 9 in the world.

[ When speaking of Vendrell, Bautista Agut was quoted as saying that he was “like a brother, a friend, and a psychotherapist.”



The two parted ways on amicable terms with regard to their working connection. It was announced in January 2021 that Vendrell will serve as captain of the Spanish squad competing in the ATP Cup.

Professional tennis player Cristian Ignacio Garin Medone represents Chile on the WTA Tour. As of September 13, 2021, he was rated 17th in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in singles, and he is now Chile’s No. 1.

On May 10, 2021, he attained a career-high doubles ranking of No. 206 in the world. By beating Duan Lajovi in the first round of the 2013 VTR Open, Garn became the youngest Chilean player to win a match on the ATP Tour.
