Leslie Jordan achieved the most fame during his career playing Lonnie Garr on Hearts Fire and Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace. He became well-known during the 2020 pandemic and racked up 5.8 million Instagram followers.

He uprooted his life and moved to Los Angeles in 1982, where he started experimenting with booze and drugs. In 2010, Jordan claimed to have been drug- and alcohol-free for fourteen years.

Jordan was killed when his car collided with the side of a building at the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Romaine Street in Hollywood at about 9:30 in the morning on October 24, 2022.



It’s believed that he experienced a medical emergency shortly before the collision, which led to him losing control of the car. Jordan’s demise was officially pronounced at the scene.

Jordan was the second famous person to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house in the month of August 2014. In Sordidlives, Ordan played the part of Earl “Brother Boy” Ingram, and he later appeared in the same role in the cult classic movie of the same name, which received acclaim from critics.

He both wrote and starred in the stage production of the autobiographical drama Lost at the Pershing Point Hotel, which was later turned into a movie.
