Estelle Harris was an extremely shrill, grating-voiced American actress and comedienne. Her most famous part is that of Estelle Costanza on Seinfeld.



Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story franchise, Muriel in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Mama Gunda in Tarzan II are among her other appearances.

Harris was born Estelle Nussbaum on April 4, 1928, in Manhattan, New York, to Polish Jewish immigrants Isaac (“Ira”) and Anna Nussbaum, who had a candy business.



When she was seven years old, she relocated to Tarentum, Pennsylvania, to be near her aunt and uncle, who had requested her father to work in their candy business. Tarentum High School is where she received her diploma.
