The offensive line for the Aggies, which also included tackles Jake Matthews and Cedric Ogbuehi, was responsible for blocking for an offense that rated among the top 10 in the country in terms of scoring, passing, and overall offense.

Johnny Manziel, the team’s quarterback, finished the season with a completion percentage of 69 percent, throwing for 4,114 yards and 37 touchdowns while also leading the team in rushing yards with 759.

When the season was over, Sporting News honored Ifedi by bestowing upon him the Freshman All-American accolade.

Ifedi took over the right tackle position from Ogbuehi during his second year (after Ogbuehi had to replace Matthews at left tackle).

Ifedi started every game of the season except for Auburn and Missouri due to a sprained knee that he received against Louisiana–Monroe. He missed both of those games because of the injury.

The offensive line of the Aggies allowed for only 27 sacks to be recorded (2.1 per game), while quarterbacks Kenny Hill and Kyle Allen combined for 514 pass attempts (39.5 per game). As a result, the Aggies led the Southeastern Conference in passing yards and touchdowns.
