Gerrit Alan Cole is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the New York Yankees (MLB). On November 8, 1990, Gerrit was born in Newport Beach, California. He formerly played for the Houston Astros and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Cole was a member of the baseball team at Orange Lutheran High School and was drafted in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees.
