Harry Maguire and long-term girlfriend Fern Hawkins have finally tied the knot. On Thursday, May 12, 2022, a secret wedding was held at Crewe Registry Office.
The 29-year-old Manchester United and England defender Maguire was seen leaving the service dressed smartly in a white shirt and slacks.
A separate white blazer and matching white pants were worn by Fern, a 27-year-old woman who departed the venue separately.
Her ring finger was also adorned with a large ring. Earlier today, Maguire was photographed at Manchester United’s Carrington training facility, where he was expected to report for duty.
Only close family and friends were present during the wedding, according to the Mirror. Guests were allegedly only advised of the location in Crewe the day before the event by text message.
Maguire’s parents, Alan and Zoe, are claimed to have made the trip from Sheffield to Crewe only to be there for the celebration.
While on vacation in France this summer, the happy couple plans to renew their wedding vows in a private ceremony.
Since February 17, 2018, the pair have been engaged, and today they finally tied the knot. During a trip to Paris four years ago, Maguire proposed to her.
Last month, Maguire got a savage bomb threat that shocked the family.
