Hocus Pocus wasn’t released on Netflix; instead, it was made available on Disney Plus. Hocus Pocus 2 will be streamable on Disney+ on Friday, September 30 at 3 a.m. Eastern/1 a.m. Pacific.

The iconic Halloween movie from the 1990s, Hocus Pocus 2, will finally receive the follow-up it deserves. Just in time for Halloween, the movie will be released in a matter of days on Disney Plus.

Hocus Pocus 2

Nearly 30 years after the release of the first film, in the Disney Plus-only sequel Hocus Pocus 2, Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy will reprise their roles as the recognizable Sanderson sisters.

It’s up to a new bunch of kids to attempt to thwart their plan once more as these three marvelously evil sisters are about to wreak havoc on the town of Salem, Massachusetts, on All Hallow’s Eve.

Of course, a Hocus Pocus movie wouldn’t be complete without the Sanderson sisters, so it’s encouraging to see that Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson will once again be played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.

As Billy Butcherson, Doug Jones (The Shape of Water, What We Do in the Shadows) will also make a comeback. The first time Max, Dani, Allison, and Binx defeated the sisters, it was with the aid of Billy, Winifred’s zombie ex-boyfriend.

We get our first look at Doug dressed up for the new movie in a still from the film that Entertainment Weekly posted, set against a truly eerie background.
