An unidentified British man has reportedly died after plunging to his death at the Melia hotel which is on the Malaguf beach. The incident occurred at around 8:30 am this morning.
The 34-year-old man had fallen from the seventh from the hotel where a spokesperson for the regional government emergency response coordination center said”We got the call first at 8:39 am. Ambulances, local police, and Civil Guard were sent to the scene but there was nothing that could be done to save the man who was subsequently declared dead”.
Another source also stated that the man was seen drunk a few moments before he fell but it was too early to focus on that being the main reason he fell since he was with a group of people before he fell. The identity of the man is not known as the police have not yet disclosed his details to the public except his age and nationality.
The Hotel Melia is a four-star hotel that is ideal for a vacation with four luxury pools, a spa, a sauna, and direct contact with the Magaluf beach and not a place for someone to commit suicide as people are speculating about the death of the man.
Earlier this May 3, an Irish tourist was also rushed after falling from a second-floor apartment at a holiday resort at Santa Ponsa which is closer to the Melia Hotel.
