How Did Diane Postler-Slattery Die?

Postler-Slattery died in a Plane Crash on 9 March 2022.

According to WJHG in Pensacola, Postler-Slattery, 62, and her husband Don died in the crash near Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport.

The Slatterys departed Michigan on Tuesday, stopped in Tennessee, and continued on their way to Florida, according to Florida police.



On approach to the airport, however, their single-engine Cessna vanished from radar and was later located with the help of drones and multiple law enforcement agencies in densely wooded area.

The jet was discovered in a wooded area approximately a mile from the airport in Bay County, Florida. At the scene, both Diane and Don Slattery were pronounced dead.

In January 2013, she was named president and CEO of the health system. Under her tenure, MyMichigan Health grew to include hospitals in Alpena, West Branch, and Sault Ste. Marie.

She was previously the president and chief operating officer of Aspirus Wausau Hospital, as well as the Aspirus system’s senior vice president of quality and extended services.

But she wasn’t simply an administrator. Postler-Slattery was a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree.
