Lammons, Christopher Lamar, is a cornerback with the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs. He was a South Carolina University football player. In his four years at South Carolina, Lammons was a four-year letterwinner. He started all 13 games for the Gamecocks during his junior season and recorded 53 total tackles (four for loss), one sack, five pass deflections, and three interceptions to place him eighth in the Southeastern Conference.

As a senior, he was third on the team with 79 tackles (three for loss), two forced fumbles, and seven passes defended.   To cap off his collegiate career, Lammons had totaled 177 tackles (nine for loss), a sack, four interceptions, and 21 passes defended, with three forced turnovers and three recovered fumbles.

Lammons was added to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad on December 10, 2019. Lammons spent the remainder of the 2019 season on the Chiefs’ practice squad, including the team’s Super Bowl LIV victory. On February 5, 2020, he re-signed with the Chiefs.

On September 5, 2020, he was waived during final roster cuts and signed to the practice squad the following day. On December 5 and 12, he was promoted to the active roster for the team’s weeks 13 and 14 games against the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins, respectively, and then returned to the practice squad following each game.
