How Good Is Markus Golden?
Golden is discussing his outlook on life, yet there is a striking similarity between what he is saying and his game. Unrelenting and unceasing in its pursuit.
It would be hard for anyone not to be thrilled on a team that is 8-1 and has a player who leads the club in sacks with nine and ranks third in the NFL in that category.
Instead, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament the following season.
The huge contract never arrived, the Cardinals elected to acquire Terrell Suggs as Golden shopped around for a new team, and ultimately, Golden signed a one-year deal with the Giants. This was after he had reached the point where he was eligible for free agency.
