How Good Is Markus Golden?

Markus Golden is an American football outside linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL).

He played college football at Missouri and was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Golden previously played for the New York Giants.

During his time at Affton High School, Golden was a record-setting running back and linebacker.



During his junior year, he set a new record for the school with 168 tackles and 16 sacks, in addition to running for 1,139 yards and 16 touchdowns.

In his senior season, he set a school record by rushing for 2,264 yards and scoring 30 touchdowns. In addition, he recorded 108 tackles and 10 sacks.

Golden produced 90 tackles during his rookie year at Hutchinson, including 26 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. In addition, Golden had five forced fumbles, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
