The New York Jets are a professional American Football team based in the New York metropolitan area with the Nickname Gang Green. It was established on August 14, 1959, as Titans of New York an original member of the American Football League.
The Jet began to play in 1960 at the Pol Groundset. The current name was adopted in1964 under new ownership They contested in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the League’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division.
They play their home games at MetLife Stadium. Their current team colors are Gotham green, spotlight white, and stealth black. The CEO of the team is Woody Johnson with the president as Hymie Elhai and General manager, Joe Douglas.

Robert Saleh (born January 31, 1979) is an American Footballer coach who is the head coach for the New York Jets of the National Football Jet(NFL).
A defensive coach for much of his 19-year coaching career, Saleh has served as an assistant coach for the Houston Texas, Seatle Seahawks, Jackson Jagon, and San Francisco 49ers from 2005 to 2020, holding his first defensive coordinator position with the Niners from 2017 to 2020.
Saleh has appeared in two Super Bowls, one each with the Seahawks and 49ers, winning one in 2014with the Seahawks. Following the 2020 season, he left the 49ers to become the Jets’ head coach.
In January, the Jets signed Robert Saleh to a five-year contract, he’s reportedly making $5 million this season
