How Much is Texas Rangers franchise worth?

In 2021, the franchise was predicted to be worth around 1.785 billion dollars in the United States. The Texas Rangers are owned by Ray Davis and Bob Simpson, who purchased the franchise in 2010 for a total of 593 million United States dollars.

The Texas Rangers are a major league baseball club headquartered in Dallas–Fort Worth. Texas plays in the American League West division of Major League Baseball. The Rangers relocated from Globe Life Park to the rebuilt Globe Life Field in Arlington in 2020. The squad shares its name with a police enforcement agency.

The Washington Senators were given an expansion team in 1961 after the city’s first AL team, the second Washington Senators, went to Minnesota and became the Twins (the original Washington Senators played primarily in the National League during the 1890s). A year later, the Rangers took over as the new Senators.

Their postseason appearances include seven division titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2010, 2011, 2015, and 2016) and one wild card (2012). In 2010, the Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to go past the division series.

Their first American League pennant came following a six-game sweep of the New York Yankees The Rangers lost in five games to the San Francisco Giants in the 2010 World Series. They won the American League again in 2010 but lost the World Series in seven games to the St. Louis Cardinals.
