John Brown was an American actor and singer. Brown was a nightclub and stage performer as well as a comic actor, and a regular cast member of the television series Laugh-in.

Born on June 11, 1937 (age 84 years), in St. Petersburg, Florida, in the United States of America. John Brown began recording as a singer as late as 1961, after having toured with Sam “The Man” Taylor since 1958.

His first release was on Columbia Records, “Walkin’, Talkin’, Kissin’ Doll” b/w “Sundown” in February 1961.



According to reports, John is known for his beautiful wide smile which he shows whenever he is happy or in a very good mood.

He was said to have starred in many comedy series with the one that people loved most been the building superintendent Nathan Bookman on the 1970s CBS sitcom, Good Times.
