Kenneth Tsang Kong was an actor from Hong Kong. Tsang had a 50-year acting career that encompassed a range of roles. In 2015, Tsang was named Best Supporting Actor at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards.

Tsang Koon-yat was born in Shanghai and had ancestors from Jida , Guangdong.

Tsang went to Wah Yan College in Hong Kong and subsequently Wah Yan College in Kowloon for high school.

He spent his freshman year at McMurry College in Abilene, Texas, before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture.

At The Kowloon Hotel, he began his seven-day quarantine. Tsang’s unmoving body was discovered in his hotel room on April 27, 2022. He was confirmed dead at the site after paramedics examined him.
