Zoe Louise Ball is a British radio and television personality who was born on November 23, 1970. She was the first female host of the BBC’s Radio 1 Breakfast and Radio 2 Breakfast Shows, and from 1996 to 1999, she co-hosted the children’s show Live & Kicking with Jamie Theakston.

Ball was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing’s third series. Following that, she took over as host of the BBC Two spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two from Claudia Winkleman in 2011 until her departure in 2021.

In 2011 and 2015, Ball hosted the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour. Ball was named the next anchor of The Radio 2 Breakfast Show in 2018, succeeding Chris Evans in January 2019.

As a child, Zoe Ball lived in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, where she was raised. She is the daughter of Johnny Ball, a children’s television host, and Julia Anderson, his wife. Zoe was two years old when her parents split.

Between 1975 and 1978, Ball attended Heston Junior School in Hounslow. Her family then relocated to Buckinghamshire’s Farnham Common. When she finished elementary school,

she transferred to Holy Cross Convent School in Chalfont St Peter, where she continued her education before attending Amersham College of Art and Technology.

they eventually reconciled. Woody and Nelly  are the couple’s two children . It was 18 years ago today that this married couple announced their separation and divorce on the 24th of September, 2016.

Michael Reed, a model and carpenter, was introduced to Zoe by a mutual acquaintance in December 2017. however, it is still unclear if they are married or not.
