American actor Jack Lee Ging was born November 30, 1931, and has reportedly passed away today September 9, 2022, at age 90.

He was best remembered for his roles as General Harlan “Bull” Fulbright on the NBC adventure series The A-Team and as a supporting character in the final season of Dale Robertson’s Tales of Wells Fargo.

He married Gretchen Graening on April 19, 1956, following their divorce. In September 1973, they divorced and had a son together.



Ging got married to Sharon Ramona Thompson in Los Angeles on September 23, 1978. The couple had two daughters.

General Harlan “Bull” Fullbright, the show’s antagonist played by Ging, learns that the soldiers of fortune were heroes rather than villains. Fullbright’s on-screen persona vanished when he was wounded in the back during a rescue effort to save his daughter.

It was a program for kids. He joked in an interview, “They shot 10,000 machine guns from every roof and tossed bombs and grenades, yet nobody ever got killed – except me.”

Ging worked primarily in the television industry, making guest appearances on shows like Bat Masterson, The Roaring 20s, The Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Hawaii Five-O.
