Jake Brendel is an American football center for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA. Brendel was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2016.

A local of Plano, Texas, Brendel went to Plano East Senior High School, where he played as a cautious tackle in his initial 2 years.

He was moved to the hostile line as a lesser. He filled in as a group chief and was a double-cross first-group All-area at the hostile line. He was viewed as a three-star enlist by Rivals.com and was recorded as the No. 15 focus prospect in his group.

Brendel was endorsed as an undrafted free specialist by the Dallas Cowboys after the 2016 NFL Draft on May 6. On September 3, 2016, he was delivered by the Cowboys.

The following day, he was endorsed to the Cowboys’ training crew. He was let out of the training crew with a physical issue settlement on September 29.

Miami Dolphins

On October 11, 2016, Brendel was signed to the Miami Dolphins practice crew. He was elevated to the dynamic list on November 19. He showed up in one game.

In 2017, he showed up in each of the 16 games as a reinforcement community.
On September 2, 2018, Brendel was put on a harmed save with a calf injury. He was initiated off harmed hold on November 2.

He played in four games, beginning three at passed careful and focused because of wounds. He was put back on the harmed save with a calf injury on December 12, 2018.

Denver Broncos

On April 18, 2019, Brendel signed with the Denver Broncos. He was released on August 31.

Baltimore Ravens

On November 27, 2019, Brendel was signed by the Baltimore Ravens but was released three days later on November 30.

San Francisco 49ers

On February 7, 2020, Brendel was signed by the San Francisco 49ers.[24] On August 6, Brendel announced he would opt out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On August 31, 2021, Brendel was waived during final roster cuts
