Jarrett Guarantano is an American football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tennessee and Washington State.



He moved to Washington State for the 2021 season and participated in the game there as a graduate transfer. However, because of a knee injury, he was only able to play in two games for the Cougars, during which he threw for 304 yards and one score.

In August of 2021, he was put forward for consideration for the Golden Arm Award. In December 2019, he finished his undergraduate degree in psychology and went on to earn his master’s degree in agriculture.



After not being selected in the NFL Draft in 2022, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent after participating in their rookie minicamp.

When the Arizona Cardinals kicked off their preseason schedule, he made his debut for the team against the Cincinnati Bengals.

During the preseason, he participated in each and every game, however on August 30, 2022, he was released from the team. On September 7th, he was re-signed to the practice squad for team.

During the 2020 season, he participated in seven games and threw for 1,112 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions. In 2019, he played in all 13 games and threw for 2,158 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

As a redshirt sophomore, Jarrett played in all 12 games and started all of them. He completed 153 of 246 passes for 1,907 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only three interceptions.

Guarantano broke the previous record for most consecutive pass attempts without throwing an interception by completing 166 consecutive throws without throwing an interception.
