The winners of the UK’s largest EuroMillions lottery jackpot of £184 million have been revealed as a married couple who revealed the first item they purchased was a wardrobe.

On Tuesday, May 10, Gloucester residents Joe and Jess Thwaite won a record-breaking £184,262,899 using a Lucky Dip ticket.

Last week, the couple from Gloucestershire won over £184 million in the EuroMillions, making them the country’s largest lottery winners.



They’ve been married for 11 years and have two young children. From a previous marriage, Mr. Thwaite has two university-aged children.

Mrs. Thwaite operates a hairdresser business with her sister, and he works as a communication sales engineer.

Mr. Thwaite, 49, purchased the winning ticket via the National lottery app on the afternoon of last Tuesday’s draw and received an email the following morning.

Their jackpot win on Tuesday is the second in the UK this year after an unknown player won £10.9 million in a February draw.

Mr. and Mrs. Thwaite won £184,262,899,10 after their ticket matched all seven numbers plus the lucky star.

3, 25, 27, 28, and 29, as well as the fortunate star numbers 4 and 9, were the winning numbers.
