Jose Azocar is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022.

When Azocar was an international free agent, the Detroit Tigers signed him in October 2012, and he made his professional debut with the VSL Tigers in 2013. (the Venezuelan Summer League).

A year later in 2015, he signed with Connecticut Tigers, a minor league affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, before being transferred to the GCL Tigers roster and being an All-Star in the postseason that year. He had a.325 average, 29 RBIs, 10 doubles, and five triples during his time in the league.

For the 2016 season, he was called up to the West Michigan Whitecaps and spent the entire season with them. To play at the higher level in 2017, he was promoted to High-A Lakeland, where he batted.220 despite hitting his first professional home runs (he had three).

Both Azocar and Lakeland would be Azocar’s home base for the year. The Erie SeaWolves would be his first stop in 2019. He had a.336 batting average as of May 11th, 2019, which placed him third in the Eastern League.

Despite a dip in his batting average, he was selected to play in the Eastern League All-Star Game for the Western Division on June 24.

Professional baseball outfielder Jose Azocar has no children at the moment. It is quite obvious that Azocar is focused on his baseball career for now.

He has no plans of becoming a father anytime soon.
