Justice Lawrence is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). The year was 1994 when Lawrence was born in Panama, and he came to the United States when he was two years old with his parents.
Lawrence was a baseball star at Jacksonville University and Daytona State College while he was a student at Jacksonville’s First Coast High School.
A year ago, he signed a contract with the Colorado Rockies after being selected by them in the Major League Baseball amateur draft in the 12th round in 2015.
Prior to joining the Grand Junction Rockies, Lawrence made his professional debut with the Boise Hawks after signing. He was 0–3 with an 8.39 ERA in 22 bullpen appearances for the two teams.
For the 2016 and 2017 seasons, he pitched for the Boise Hawks and the Asheville Tourists of the minor leagues, going 4–6 with a 4.98 earned run average in 49 relief appearances. In 2017, he returned to Asheville and went 0–2 with a 1.65 earned run average in 16+13 innings due to injury.
With the Lancaster JetHawks in 2018, Lawrence had a 2.65 earned run average (ERA) and 62 strikeouts (plus or minus 3) in 57+1/3 bullpen innings of work.
