Kolby Allard Salary, Contract and Net Worth

Kolby Allard is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Atlanta Braves.

Allegedly, previous to the draft, Allard underwent back surgery for an issue with his back, but he insists he just worked at the time to rest and recover.

However, his back began to bother him once more. A so-called “small surgical treatment” on his back was performed after his third professional outing.

In spite of being expected to go in the top ten of the 2015 MLB draft and considered by some pundits to be the best high-school pitcher, the injury caused him to drop in the rankings.

Allard was traded to the Braves in the 14th round. It worked out well for him and San Clemente High School since he was picked by the Braves at No. 54 along with his catcher, Herbert.

Allard’s major league career included just one start. With an 11-6 victory over the Miami Marlins on July 31, 2018, he made his first professional start.

Nine hits and five runs were all he could muster in his five innings of work (four earned). He not only won, but he also got his first career major league hit.
