Levi Caverly Cause Of Death: How Did Levi Caverly Die?

Levi Caverly, aged 18 of Union, Maine was killed when a hole dug with frisbees collapsed on both him and his 17-year-old sister.

He was recognized in his home state of Maine for his tragic death at the Jersey Shore beach.

According to officials in Toms River, New Jersey; Levi Caverly, 18, of Union, Maine; and his 17-year-old sister were killed when a hole excavated with frisbees collapsed.



First responders said he was murdered when the sand moved as she was rescued. Todd Caverly, his father, revealed the following in a Facebook post on Wednesday: “Levi was himself. He was odd. He was quirky. He was not real concerned with what others thought.”

“He knew Jesus Christ,” the statement continued. “He was involved in the worship team at church, and was the drummer in a teen/young adult worship band. He was a tech nut and loved to program.”

People who talked to the media and had heard about the incident in Levi Caverly’s hometown of Union, Maine, considered it heartbreaking.

Additionally, Todd Caverly took to Facebook to thank his followers for their prayers and to let them know that his family will be spending time with members of their church on Wednesday night.

New Jersey Mayor Mo Hill Jr. has encouraged people not to dig holes “so big you get up to your head and your neck” in Toms River, New Jersey.

Also, as of Tuesday night, there was still debate about whether or not the 10-foot-deep pit was indeed a sinkhole or whether it had collapsed spontaneously.
