Diane Alexander
Diane Alexander was born in the United States on June 16th, 1967. Diane was a dancer and fashion designer who also appeared as a dancer in the films Lake Girls (1990) and Forget Paris (1995).
She rose to prominence as a result of her romance with Lionel Richie, and she danced in his video Dancing on the Ceiling (1986). Before this connection, she was unknown to the general public.
Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander married on December 21, 1995, but they met much earlier, at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics ceremony.
Miles Brockman, born a year before Diane Alexander and Lionel Richie married, and Sofia Richie, born on August 24, 1998, are the couple’s two children.
After seven years of marriage, the couple split in October 2003. Diane sought $300,000 every month for herself and their children’s upkeep, thus Lionel had to pay a large sum of money as alimony!
Brenda Harvey-Richie
Brenda Harvey-Richie is the ex-wife of Lionel Richie, a well-known musician, and composer. Harvey was born in Brewton, Alabama, on September 2, 1952. She is of mixed ethnicity and holds an American nationality.
Nicole was first adopted by Lionel and Brenda when she was two years old. Although Nicole was adopted much later, Brenda and Lionel clearly regard Nicole as their daughter in every aspect.
