Mason Greenwood is a young and talented footballer who started his career with Machester United at a very young age (6 years) at the club’s development school in Halifax.

Greenhood made his way through the academy’s lower levels, and joined the Under-18 squad for the 2017–18 season, despite the fact that he was still eligible for the Under-16s.

He ended the season as the top scorer in the U18 Premier League North with 17 goals in 21 games, despite the fact that he was still eligible for the lower level.

Greenwood was honored with the title of Player of the Tournament during the youth side’s victory in the ICGT Trophy in the Netherlands back in May of 2018.

After coming up through the club’s youth system, Greenwood scored in the club’s UEFA Europa League match against Astana in September 2019, making him the youngest player in the club’s history to score in European competition.

In September 2020, he made his senior international debut for England in a match against Iceland that was part of the UEFA Nations League.

Greenwood was taken into custody in January 2022 on suspicion of raping and assaulting a lady. A few days later, he was taken into custody once more on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill.

Since that time, Greenwood has not participated in any training sessions with either his club or his national team. In October of 2022, he was charged with attempted rape, assault leading to actual bodily damage, and controlling and coercive behavior.
