Matt Ryan is an American football quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Boston College, Ryan was drafted by the Falcons third overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Ryan was Boston College’s starting quarterback from 2005 to 2007, driving them to three bowl triumphs and a 25-7 record in 32 beginnings.

He tossed for at least 200 yards multiple times and is third record-breaking in school history in passing yards and in pass fulfillments.



He procured MVP of the game distinctions at the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl. In 2007, Ryan drove his group to an ACC Atlantic Division title and was named ACC Player of the Year.

During his freshman year, Ryan began every one of the 16 games for the Falcons and drove them to the end of the season games with an 11-5 season record.

He procured respect as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 2016, Ryan was the NFL’s Most Valuable Player and drove the Falcons to Super Bowl LI, where they were crushed by the New England Patriots.

Matt Ryan has two children named Marshall Thomas Ryan and John Matthew. In 2018, Matt Ryan and his wife Sarah welcomed twin boys but stayed mum about the births until both babies were home.
