Max Schrock Parents: Meet Bill and Julie Schrock

Max Schrock is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the St. Louis Cardinals.

St. Patrick’s Catholic High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, is where Schrock went to high school. His selection by the Arizona Diamondbacks came in the 28th round of the MLB draft, which took place in 2012.



He didn’t sign with the Diamondbacks and instead attended the University of South Carolina, where he played baseball in college. In 2013, he was a member of the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League, a collegiate summer baseball team.

During his junior year, he was picked in the 13th round of the 2015 MLB draft by the Washington Nationals and signed. In 2015, Schrock made his major league debut with the Auburn Doubledays, where he played all season, batting.308 with two home runs and 14 RBIs.

The Hagerstown Suns signed him while he was a rookie in 2015, and he was promoted to the Potomac Nationals in June of 2016.

In exchange for Marc Rzepczynski, the Nationals sent Schrock to the Oakland Athletics. After being sent to the Stockton Ports by Oakland, he was promoted to the Midland RockHounds by the same organization.
