Michael Bublé’s biggest hit song is “Haven’t Met You Yet.”

Michael Bublé’s fourth studio album, Crazy Love, was released on August 31, 2009, and the first single from it is “Haven’t Met You Yet.”

The song and its official music video, according to Bublé, are “about everyone’s hope of finding a relationship and love.”

“Haven’t Met You Yet” was written by Bublé with Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies, and song was dedicated to his wife, Luisana Lopilato (who appears as his love interest in the music video).

The song has done well on the adult contemporary charts, hitting number one in the United States during the chart week of January 30, 2010, and became the first record in Billboard Canada’s AC chart history.

After “Home” and “Everything,” this is Bublé’s third #1 single on the adult contemporary charts. It was also a significant hit on the Billboard Hot 100, where the song peaked at #24, making it his highest-charting single to date.

The song debuted at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart on October 18, 2009, becoming his first top ten hit in the country, eventually moving to number 5 in its third week.

The song was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 53rd Grammy Awards, and it won Single of the Year at the 2010 Juno Awards.

On his website, The Daily Bublé, a video for the song was uploaded. On August 28, 2009, his official fan club, Bungalow-B, made the complete song available for streaming exclusively.

On August 30, it was released on iTunes, and on August 31, it was released on his official website.

Positive feedback was received for the song. The song received four out of five stars from Patrick McKiernan of the website Allgigs.co.uk, who said,

“The lyrical structure isn’t too far outside of his comfort zone, but it’s still interesting enough to listen to, but it’s the music that I believe is outstanding.

The piano is brisk and peppy, with some lovely, modest string arrangements that wonderfully compliment his vocal appeal, and the song even includes a fantastic bit of bugle during the bridge.”

The song was chosen by AllMusic as one of the album’s best tracks.
