When Loose Women initially debuted on television in 1999, Nadia Sawalha became a member of the panel. Nadia returned to the popular lunchtime program in 2013 after leaving it after only three years, and she has since established herself as a regular member of the panel.

After having a hysteroscopy, the Loose Women panelist, 57, posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed and commented that she wished she had “dealt with it sooner.”

The former Eastenders actress claimed that following the operation, which involved looking inside the womb, she had been given the all-clear.

The Annie Palmer actress wrote on Instagram, “The only reason I’m posting these pics is that I want to catch your eye and urge you to bite the bullet and get yourself seen if you have been worrying about any symptoms you’ve been experiencing.”

She added: “Delaying things will just cause more worry

“Honestly, I won’t lie. Despite my own previous anxiety, on Monday I received the all-clear! I only wish I had dealt with it sooner to avoid getting into such a jam.

“Don’t delay make the call. Get seen. It makes sense, you know. Love and big hugs, Nads xxx #womenshealth #hysteroscopy #wombwellness “.

Support messages for the former BBC serial star arrived quickly from fans and famous friends.
