Nate Pearson Parents: Meet Dave Pearson and Elaine Pearson

Nate Pearson is a known professional baseball player who is part of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He takes the position of a pitcher when on the field and has been with the Jays since 2017.

Nate played baseball in his high school days at the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School located in Spring Hill, Florida. After high school, he continued his career at the Florida International University (FIU) where he played college baseball for the FIU Panthers baseball team.

After a year of being at FIU, Nate got a transfer to the College of Central Florida where he continued to play baseball and was honoured to be named the JUCO Pitcher of the Year by Perfect Game.

In 2017, he was considered one of the top prospects for the 2017 MLB draft and he was selected in the 28th overall selection by the Toronto Blue Jays. He signed with the Jays in June 2017 and earned a $2.45 million signing bonus.

He played for the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Blue Jays and was soon promoted to the Short Season-A Vancouver Canadians after making one start. He was later assigned to the Advanced-A Dunedin Blue Jays to begin the 2018 season, but unfortunately, he opened the year on the disabled list. Nate made his MLB debut on July 29, 2020, for the Toronto Blue Jays team.
