Pan Jiluan Biography
Pan Jiluan was a Chinese scientist who served as president of Nanchang University, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Born on December 24, 1927, in Ruichang County (now Ruichang), Jiangxi, Pan began his education at the Binxing School in Jiujiang County and furthered it to high school at the Yunnan Provincial High School.
Jilian was said to have furthered his education in college at the National Southwestern Associated University in August 1944 where he majored in mechanical engineering but unfortunately, the school closed down.
After the closing down of the school, Pan transferred to the Department of Machinery of Tsinghua University to continue his study.
