Paul Cady Blackburn (born December 4, 1993) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Oakland Athletics.

Blackburn was traded to the Oakland Athletics for Danny Valencia on November 12, 2016. A few days later, the Athletics added him to their 40-man roster.

In 2017, he started with the Triple-A Nashville Sounds. For the Sounds, Blackburn had a 5–6 record with a 3.05 ERA and 56 strikeouts until June 26, 2017. He was chosen to the All-Star Team of the Pacific Coast League in 2017.

On July 1, 2017, Blackburn was called up to the Oakland Athletics and made his major league debut against the Atlanta Braves. He pitched with Oakland for the rest of the season, going 3-1 with a 3.22 ERA in ten starts.

During a start in Baltimore on August 22, Blackburn was hit in the hand by a line drive hit by Trey Mancini. He was removed from the game and did not pitch again that year.

He started the 2018 season on the disabled list. On June 7, he was activated and reported to Oakland, where he had a 7.16 ERA in six starts. With a forearm injury, Blackburn was placed on the injured list on August 28.

In 2019, Blackburn pitched in four games, posting a 10.64 ERA and eight strikeouts in 11.0 innings. In 2020, Blackburn only pitched in one game, throwing up seven earned runs in 2.1 innings.

After the formal signing of Mitch Moreland on February 23, 2021, Blackburn was designated for assignment. Blackburn was outrighted and invited to Spring Training as a non-roster invitee on February 27.
