Maddow‘s first job as a radio personality was in 1999 at WRNX (100.9 FM) in Holyoke, Massachusetts, then, at that point, home to “The Dave in the Morning Show”.

She participated in and won a challenge the station held to observe another second lead for the show’s chief host, Dave Brinnel.

After the WRNX show, she hosted Big Breakfast on WRSI in Northampton, Massachusetts, for quite a long time, leaving in 2004 to enlist in the new Air America.

There she facilitated Unfiltered alongside Chuck D (of the hip bounce bunch Public Enemy) and Lizz Winstead (co-maker of The Daily Show) until its wiping out in March 2005.
