Rashad Fenton was born on February 17, 1997, and is an American football cornerback who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He was a member of the South Carolina football team throughout his college years.

Fenton attended Miami Carol City High School in Miami Gardens, Florida, where he played football under coach Aubrey Hill, who was a former assistant coach under Steve Spurrier.

According to major recruiting sites such as ESPN, 247Sports, and Rivals, Fenton was a high-end three-star recruit who received multiple Power 5 offers during his recruitment. Fenton chose the South Carolina Gamecocks football team over the Florida Gators and the Louisville Cardinals.

Fenton attended the University of South Carolina, where he played four years of college football. Fenton was a reliable cover corner who participated in 48 games and made 30 starts during his career.

Fenton had 122 tackles, five interceptions, 24 passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in his career. Fenton had a career kick return average of 24.8 yards, which was second in school history.
