An American actress and television producer with a large following is Sarah Jessica Parker. She produced and starred in the indie drama Here and Now in 2018. She and her husband, Matthew Broderick, performed for two weeks in a revival of Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite at Boston’s Colonial Theatre in February 2020.



Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, previews at the Hudson Theatre were slated for March 2020, and its formal opening was planned for April 2020. She is well-known for playing Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO television series Sex and the City, for which she received two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.

She hosted the MTV Movie Awards in 2000 and made appearances during the ceremony wearing fourteen different ensembles. Through her participation in numerous advertising projects, she has also come to represent many of the greatest fashion brands in the world. She agreed to a lucrative contract in August 2003 with Garnier to feature in print and television advertisements promoting their Nutrisse hair care line.

She starred in the HBO series Divorce as Frances Dufresne, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. She has been in charge of her own production firm, Pretty Matches, which has been producing material for HBO and other networks since 2005. In 2022, Time magazine listed her as one of the top 100 global influencers.
