Sterling Shepard is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma.
In a game against the Philadelphia Eagles on November 6, 2016, he continued his ascent as a promising receiver by making three receptions for a total of 50 yards and catching a touchdown ball for 23 yards. This contributed to the team’s victory.
The following week, Shepard led the Cincinnati Bengals to a 21–20 victory over the team by catching five passes for a total of 42 receiving yards and one score.
Shepard recorded his third game in a row with a touchdown on November 20, 2016, as he concluded a victory over the Chicago Bears with five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. The game was a 22–16 victory for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Shepard had seven receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which resulted in a loss by a score of 24–19 for the Giants.
As the season came to a close, he finished with 65 receptions, 683 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns.

What Happened To Sterling Shepard?
During the Giants’ final play from scrimmage, Shepard was jogging down the field, and it appeared as though he had sustained an injury. On the other hand, he disclosed that he might have injured his knee before that.
Shepard was questioned regarding the turf at MetLife Stadium, which has appeared to be a contributing factor in the majority of team injuries over the course of the past few years.
After the swelling in Shepard’s knee has gone down, he will go in for surgery to have it repaired. However, prior to that, he had intentions of traveling to London with the club.
