Taylor Fritz, also known by his full name Taylor Harry Fritz, is an American tennis player. The Association of Tennis Professionals gave him a career-high singles rating of No. 13 on March 21, 2022, and a doubles ranking of No. 104 on July 26, 2021.

The American parents Kathy May and Guy Fritz welcomed Taylor into the world on October 28, 1997, in San Diego, California. He went to Torrey Pines High School, where as a freshman he won the CIF singles championship in the San Diego area. He transferred to an online high school a few months into his sophomore year so that he could play ITF junior competitions full-time.

Fritz competed in his debut ATP Tour event in Nottingham, where he was given a wild card and defeated Pablo Carreno Busta to win his first ATP match. Fritz became a professional in September 2015 after winning the Junior US Open. By being the 9th player at age 17 to win three Challenger Tour championships and doing it in back-to-back weeks, he immediately advanced from the 600s into the top 250 of the ATP rankings.

He defeated Alex Molan at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships to advance to the fourth round for the first time in his career.
