Taylor Hawkins Cover Band

A cover band named Chevy Metal was created by Hawkins in 2013 while the Foo Fighters were on sabbatical.

Hawkins sang backing vocals for Ozzy Osbourne on Slash, Slash’s solo album, which was released in 2010. He was cast as Iggy Pop in CBGB, a rock ‘n’ roll film.

Vasco Rossi’s final song, “L’uomo più semplice,” featured Hawkins on drums. The Italian version of this song was published on the 21st of January, 2013.

Taylor Hawkins joined the Foo Fighters in 1997. At the time, Grohl contacted Hawkins, a friend, to ask for his advice on a new drummer for the band.

Due to her status as a greater name at the time than the Foo Fighters, Grohl assumed Hawkins wouldn’t be leaving Morissette’s touring band.

Hawkins, to Grohl’s astonishment, volunteered to join the band and explained that he wanted to be a drummer in a rock band rather than a solo artist.

On March 18, 1997, the band announced that Hawkins will be their new drummer.

For a number of years, Hawkins performed on a variety of projects in addition to drumming with the Foo Fighters. When Pink Floyd’s “Have a Cigar” was covered by him, he sang lead vocals.

Both the B-side to “Learn to Fly” and the Mission: Impossible 2 soundtrack album included this song.

Aside from “Cold Day in the Sun,” which was released as a single as part of In Your Honor, he also delivered lead vocals on “I Feel Free,” a cover by Cream that featured on the B-side of “DOA” on the EP Five Songs and a Cover. ”
