In 1999, Vogue lauded Bündchen for putting an end to the heroin chic era of modeling. From 1999 to 2006, Bündchen was a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She is credited for inventing and popularizing the horse walk, a stomping technique performed by a model by raising her knees high and kicking her feet.
