Trevor Richards is an American professional baseball pitcher who was born May 15, 1993, in Aviston, Illinois in the United States. Trevor grew up in Aviston, Illinois and began his baseball career at Mater Dei High School in Breese, Illinois. He completed high school in 2011 and attended college at Drury University where he played college baseball.

After his college education in 2015, he was hopeful of being drafted by an MLB team but he wasn’t so he rather signed with the Gateway Grizzlies of the independent Frontier League. He finally got signed by the Miami Marlins baseball team in July 2016 after being with the Grizzlies for a year and a half.

In April 2018, Trevor was called up by the Marlins and he made his first MLB start. In 2019, the Marlins traded him to the Tampa Bay Rays and he made his first start as a Ray player on August 18, 2019, when they played against the Detroit Tigers.



Trevor was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in May 2021 for some players and in July that year,  the Brewers also traded him to the Toronto Blue Jays.
